April 25, 201214 yr Just how current is it?. Lately I have been monitoring real world ATC and the weather details being transmitted to pilots often bears little relation to what AS2012 is providing. For example the date/time of the metar currently displayed for YSSY in AS2012 is 290130Z but today is the 25th (my understanding is that the first two digits are the day of the month), the current time is 0638Z some five hours later than 0130Z and the wind in the metar is18015KT very different from what is being reported by the YSSY tower at present which is 27016KT. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us."
April 27, 201214 yr Hi Bruce I have also wondered this, I also notice the ATIS at YBCG and probably other airports dramatically changing within minutes from broken to clear sky, hardly realistic have logged this to see what the go is here, you may need to open a support ticket also as you will get a much quicker response of late, cheers http://support.hifitechinc.com Regard Wayne Wayne such Asus Hero Z690, Gigabyte Aorus Master 5080, I914900K, Kraken 360 AIO CPU Cooled, 96 GIGS Corsair DDR5, 32 Inch 4K by 3
