April 28, 201214 yr I currently use a Saitek X52 with FSX, but a friend recently gave me a Saitek Pro Flight Yoke and Throttle Quadrant he no longer used. I'm reluctant to try it out because I don't want to mess up my X52 settings in FSX's Settings - Controls My question :- If I plug in the Saitek Yoke and set up the buttons and switches in FSX's Settings - Controls, then later reconnect the X52 will the X52's settings be screwed up or are they saved depending on which hardware controller is used. Glen
April 28, 201214 yr They shouldn't be screwed up, BUT: to make sure, can always backup your Standard.XML. That way, after reconnecting the X52, you can put back your old Standard.XML and have everything the way it was, 100%. Location: FSX.cfg folder, Controls.
April 28, 201214 yr If you unplug your X52, FSX will remember your setting next time you plug it in. But somtimes it will get messed up but most of the time not. Josh CPU: Intel i9-11900K @5.2 / RAM: 64GB DDR4 3200 / GPU: 4080 16GB /
