April 27, 200422 yr I've recently gotten into flying my PSS Dash-8 and actually learning how to use the FMC. I do have the airbus packages as well, but haven't gotten to them yet.I'm looking for a good heavy jet with clickable VC. I've seen the comments flying about the PMDG - it is the only heavy with a clickable VC?? I want one but I understand that DreamFleet and CaptainSim are not far behind. Are there any out there that I am missing??
April 27, 200422 yr Look no farther than Ready for Pushback 747-200 V2... FS2020 Alienware Aurora R11 10th Gen Intel Core i7 10700F - Windows 11 Home 32GB Ram NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super OC 16GB - Pimax Crystal Light VR
April 27, 200422 yr It's got the clickable VC? I wasn't sure after reading the product info. How well is it modelled compared to the PMDG (if you happen to know of course) ?? I know that the PMDG is supposed to be the pinnacle, but $40 for the base component w/o the optimations of the 800/900 is too steep for me. $30 is good if I can startup, program and fly the whole thing from the VC in the RFP 2nd Generation.
April 27, 200422 yr >$30 is good if I can startup, program and fly the whole thing from the VC in the RFP 2nd Generation.:). It's great fun, though, but it involves a bit of a learning curve. If you're looking for a modern glass cockit with all the bells and whistles, PMDG is the way to go.Cheers,Gosta.http://www.hifisim.com/images/as2betateam.jpg
April 27, 200422 yr ooffff!!I just noticed that my A340 from PSS has a clickable VC! haha, I've had the thing since it came out. I think I flew it once and decided I didn't want to learn the systems so I just put it away. Ah, how nice to unpack it and find this now that I'm into the systems modelling. I'm saving my $$$ for now and I'm just going to learn how to fly it instead of buying anything new for now. Between the game, my controllers, addon planes and misc addon software this game has costed me enough! :)
