warning sound going off

Featured Replies

Leveling at cruise, warning sound goes off.

Its the sound of the autopilot decuppling.

The auto pilot is checked, second auto on ....warning continues.

Check everything....warning continues.

Then, after twenty minutes, is goes off.

Why on and then off, I have no clue.

Any ideas appreciated.

If you disengage AP (and reset the sound) does it continue?

Are you sure is the autopilot sound? The most common mistake is to leave the packs off (and/or bleeds) and then at cruise, you will hear the pressurization warning (wich is the same as the take off configuration warning.
