May 4, 201214 yr Hi, I have read some reviews about VoxATC and browsed through this forum, but haven't been able to make my mind up. Regarding the substantial investment (both financially and time wise) I would like some more advice. I will use VoxATC mostly for offline VFR flights, IFR I do online on VatSim network. How is VoxATC performing in VFR? Is it mainly focused on IFR or does it also do a good job in VFR regime? May 4, 201214 yr Hi. Yes, VoxATC works very well in VFR. There is a try before you buy option. Download it and give it a go. Chris
May 5, 201214 yr Author Hi, Installed VoxATC and some additional Ivona voices and currently flying. 2 questions I couldn't find in the manual: When listening to ATIS, both FSx and VoxATC readback ATIS at the same time. Can I disable FSX readback? I departed YSTW in AUS in a C90B. I was assigned a grass runway, where normally a C90 would take off from asphalt. Is it possible to force a specific runway at departure? (and destination for that matter) Location: Vleuten, The Netherlands, 17.3dme SPL 108.40 | Simulator: FS2024 System: AMD 7800X3D - Gigabyte X670 - RTX 4090 - 64GB DDR5 - 2 x 2TB SSD - 32" 1440p Display - Windows 11 Pro
May 5, 201214 yr Hi. Did you set the 'Voices' sound level to zero in the sound preferences? This should stop the default ATIS being heard. Secondly, did you load your aircraft before pressing 'Fly Now!? You need to do this as its at this point VoxATC reads what aircraft you are using. It ignores what aircraft has been selected if you choose the aircraft once the sim has loaded. Chris
