Samdim An-24 wheels FSX

Featured Replies

Hey everyone. I just downloaded the Samdim Design An-24 for FS2004 and put it onto FSX. The aircraft in general seems OK, but I noticed something peculiar. When the wheels are not in motion, they disappear. However, they are still "Visible" by the fact that they "Cut out" all scenery behind them when viewed (I had not Idea how to put this, so I will let the sceenshots show you what I mean). When the wheels are in motion, though, they look perfectly normal. Can anyone give me some ideas as to how to fix this? Thanks!

In the Graphics section of the FSX.cfg, add the following: HIGHMEMFIX=1. Save and run FSX.

Best regards,

Jim

I just tried that, but the wheels are still invisible when stationary.

Is this the latest version? I see on their website that a Version 3 was sent today (May 9th) to AVSIM.su library - http://samdimdesign.free.fr/. It probably doesn't fix the disappearing wheels in any case. Do you have DX10 Preview turned on? If so, turn it off as this was a DX9 product.

Best regards,

Jim
