There was a short circuit in my iMac recently and as a result the motherboard died. I've replaced it but now it appears that the yoke is also dead (the device that caused the short circuit was connected to the USB port of the yoke at that time).

This motherboard cost me a fortune already and I won't be able to replace the yoke any time soon so I was wondering if it is repairable at all or is it the kind of product that once damaged it's damaged? The throttle and the pedals work though.

What kind of a geek could possibly be able to examine it?
