iPad apps for X-plane
Hello, do you know any good iPad apps that complement using X-Plane on a computer? I am using C172 panel from avioware, and I like it a lot, do you know of anything similar? Thanks

Problem out of the blue (screen)
I've had this same annoying issue until I found somewhere on sevenforums.com a hint to use Blue Screen View. It's a free tool from http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/blue_screen_view.html and it will tell you the most likely drivers or win modules that may be crashing your system. For me it was the bluetooth driver and all was solved with an up to date driver. Hope it helps. Cheers!

Saitek Pro Flight Yoke short-circuited
There was a short circuit in my iMac recently and as a result the motherboard died. I've replaced it but now it appears that the yoke is also dead (the device that caused the short circuit was connected to the USB port of the yoke at that time). This motherboard cost me a fortune already and I won't be able to replace the yoke any time soon so I was wondering if it is repairable at all or is it the kind of product that once damaged it's damaged? The throttle and the pedals work though. What kind of a geek could possibly be able to examine it? Your advise highly appreciated!

Cockpit and cabin crew voice from FlightDeck Sound Effects Panel
Thank you Clutch! Sorry I've been away. If i've deleted the program - no way!Answering your questions: 1. Yes, all's working except for the icon which isn't there 2. I'm using the example but not the default B737. I've tried with PMDG's 737 and 747. 3. No, no icon on the panel and I've tried with different coordinates to make it appear at least somewhere but still no luck. Its not a big issue since it works just great when I activate it from the menu but if there's a way to get it going on the panel that' d be great too. Thanks,Dani

FS 2004 9.1 Patch
Fortunately I didn't have to run the patch so I can't share my experience with it. I think it was a livery that I was trying to install and it warned me that 9.1 was needed for it to work while what I got was 9.0 so I assumed my FS had never been patched and wanted to do the upgrade. Only later I remembered to check the FS version and it's 9.1. It's strange that during that routine installation it returns a wrong version number but it's not my problem anymore:) Thanks guys for all your knowledge!

FS 2004 9.1 Patch
Thanks for your answer.Do you know if the wizard will kind of warn me which files are being modified or lost? I'm afraid that it will run and overwrite things quietly and there will be a mess afterwards.

Cockpit and cabin crew voice from FlightDeck Sound Effects Panel
Hi, I've installed FlightDeck Sound Effects Panel that adds cockpit and cabin crew voice announcements but I can't get the icon show onto the panels as described in the Readme file. I'm following the step-by-step installation notes and it installs right but it's only accessible through the Views menu and not from the main panel where you can click on & off to quickly display or hide it. Would be cool to see it directly. Anyone had experience/ struggles with that? Strongly recommend it, great realistic experience! Thanks.

FS 2004 9.1 Patch
Hi, Are there any cons of installing the 9.1 patch? Will it affect my addons for FS like aircraft, panels, liveries, airports, sounds? I have plenty of them installed from different providers and I don't want them to stop working. Please advise!Cheers

Which sound files belong to which sound categories?
Not sure if this answers your question precisely but what I've just got is FlightDeck Sound Effects Panel with cockpit and cabin sounds. The files location is in a dedicated folder /[FS9]/Sound/FDSFX. There I've got TurbulenceON.mp3, TurbulenceOFF.mp3, BoardingMuzak.mp3 etc. Default GearUp and Flaps sounds are in /[FS9]/Sound/, while aircraft specific (by PMDG in my case) reside in /[FS9]/Sound/PMDG/MD-11/, /[FS9]/Sound/PMDG/747400/ and alike. Hope it might help.Cheers!
