May 8, 200422 yr just bought Heathrow Pro and have two questions 1. In the scenery cfg file there is this [Area.150]Title=UK2000 AFCAD2 Files HIGH LEVELLocal=UK2000 SCENERYaf2_highActive = Truelayer=40 Is this for the AFCAD file that came with the scenery? I want to use the Project AI AFCAD so if this is for the AFCAD can I just delete this entery then put in the Project AI AFCAD? 2. What does the TCompiler.exe and the DCompiler.exe do?
May 8, 200422 yr Here is a simpler question.......How do I delete the AFCAD that came with the scenery and add the Project AI AFCAD? Im trying to figure it out, but I can't get it to work.
May 8, 200422 yr why not just rename the project ai afcad to the same as the afcad that came with the scenery and overwrite the original?Paul.
May 8, 200422 yr Thanks......I will try that, but tomorrow its getting late here. I wonder why they made the AFCAD like this? It would be easier if you could just delete the AFCAD and then drop in the new one.
May 8, 200422 yr Unless the new Project AI AfCad file is Heathrow Pro specific, I would think it is not compatible. I thought AfCad files were to set up an airport with the correct taxiways and parking spots etc. and not planes. But not having installed any add on AI I'm not sure what you are trying to achieve. In my version of Heathrow Pro the AfCad file is listed separately in the add on scenery. You could try disabling it and then add the Project AI one wherever you need to put it. If it doesn't work out all you then have to do is delete the Project AI one and re-enable the original.
May 8, 200422 yr JoesphEnsure that the ACAD file you want to install is for Heathrow Pro and not for the default airport, otherwise you'll have planes in places you don't want them. The AFCAD that comes with the Heathrow Pro scenery has been designed to work specifically with that scenery......good luck!

May 8, 200422 yr Thanks all! :-)PMB was right, I had to rename the Project AI AFCAD file to AF2_EGGL.bgl then replace the one that came with the scenery. Now I have the airlines parking at the right terminals, the AFCAD that came with the scenery had the airlines parking at the wrong ternimals.
May 9, 200422 yr I guess that an AFCAD from Project AI would indeed be expected to be accurate in terms of airlines at correct terminals! I thought that you were trying to install a default AFCAD over a Heathrow Pro. Glad you got it right.
