I have three questions regarding the FS2X G1000 simulator

 

1. Is it any good? i.e. more or less complete than the one in the F1 Mustang?

 

2. Is the support any good? I see the version is current as of March this year, but their forum is "closed". Bit worried about support going forward.

 

3. I know it can be integrated into the Quest Kodiak and a couple of default FSX planes "natively", but can I use FSPanel Studio to stick it in other panels as I currently do with the RXP GNS-WAAS and Wx units? I don't own the Quest Kodiak, and have no plans to buy it, but I'd really like to replace the FSX G1000 in the Epic LT and other planes that use it

It's my understanding the FS2X version is an XML-type gauge modified from the original FS XML-type G1000.

meaning I would be able to use it in other panels just fine. Thanks, Ed.
