uploading a .xls doc

hey guys, im trying to upload an .xls worksheet to my fourm post and it say "You aren't permitted to upload this kind of file", i also tried uploading in a rar zip...that as well did not work...any ideas?

try plain old zip. I don't think rar or xls are allowed types.

No file types other image and txt files are allowed as attachments to messages in the forums. Obvious reason... virus', Trojans, etc.

Zack, you could always upload the file to a file sharing website like Mediafire.com (you can create a free account rather than download the program) and post a download link for it.
