I am using 4xAA, 16xAF. but the texture is changed to low resolution suddenly.

 

I tested 8xAA, 8xAF, 2xAA 4xAF, ETC.. but same result.

 

I am using ATI 6970 and I5 2500K. I tested this with other version of VGA driver. same result..

 

I don't know why!!!!

Try backup and delete your fsx.cfg.

 

Did happened to me once that i tested AA in and outside FSX with my ATI HD5870 card. (best result for me is letting FSX control the AA)

 

Rebuild the fsx.cfg did the trick for me

Hmm a friend of mine had this same issue. He went away after he purchased an nVidia card. Not saying that you should get one, just what I know.
