May 13, 200422 yr Just curious if anyone can tell me what the fly by wire thing is for this addon. Is it a plug in for say PSS airbus and allows the PSS's fly by wire to act properly. I see it is 10 MB so it can be a whole addon plane itself.
May 13, 200422 yr I thought that was canned, but now they say version 2 go figure. Be careful of this program, I bought an apollo B744 package back in FS98 days and was well disappointed. Things can though :-) Anyone got/tried this program? Alaister Kay
May 14, 200422 yr Hello,I tested the first version for FS2002 when it appeared last year for a german-language FS magazine. It was the worst software I ever had to review ...Yours,Martin Georg/EDDFVACC-SAG PR & Events Coordinator *** mailto:[email protected]http://vatsim.pilotmedia.fi/statusindicato...r=SAG01&a=a.jpg Cheers, Martin Georg/EDDF Contributing editor, FS-Magazin
May 14, 200422 yr Have read same reviews - doesn't seem to be good (overhead switches nearly all dummies, FMC without SID/STAR and other features,...)I loved the FS98's 747 by apollo - it was the only aircraft which could do an autoland with the announciations (land 3 etc.) and touch down with about 200ft/min. You were also able to enter waypoints in Lat/Long -format, and the ND was quite big.Stefan
May 16, 200422 yr Hello Stefan, yes, I remember that package as well - very impressive for the FS98 aera. Also, Apollo hat some other goot titles at that time. Do you remember Europe Pro? A massive amount of airports (about 220 if I remember correctly) at a fair price ...Yours,Martin Georg/EDDFVACC-SAG PR & Events Coordinator *** mailto:[email protected]http://vatsim.pilotmedia.fi/statusindicato...r=SAG01&a=a.jpg Cheers, Martin Georg/EDDF Contributing editor, FS-Magazin
May 16, 200422 yr yes, sure I do :-) But do YOU remember the Global add-on scenery (2 CD's, where one CD had to be in the CD-ROM drive all the time)...still have it. It was really great because you were able to see the cities suburbs and the exact layout instead of the big squares offered by FS98. Best regards,Stefan
