Seems a little strong for me and is making my sky purple over there. Any way to do this?

My guess would be messing with the alpha channels of the glass textures, but wait for someone PMDG who knows to tell you. Also, posting a screenshot could help, as you might be experiencing a graphic hitchup that makes your sky purple.
