June 13, 201213 yr Gent's, I'm pretty new to gauge design and was wondering if it is possible to design a gauge where you can type in the Course or Heading you want. Essentially you would press a button then type in the new Course value or Heading Value. Thanks! -Matt Chase USCG
June 13, 201213 yr Moderator Well yes, of course you can do that even in XML, but it is rather complex even so. Fr. Bill AOPA Member: 07141481 AARP Member: 3209010556 Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator
June 13, 201213 yr Matt Conduct a search for " Cockpit Commander " its a freeware gauge that does basically what you are after, and it allows the typed data to be fed to your autopilot. It's a neat instrument that also allows radio frequencies to be entered. It should be available at Flightsim , Simviation and possibly at Avsim websites. Cheers Karol
June 14, 201213 yr Author Thanks! I appreciate, I'm going to take a look at the code, I'm in Flight Training right now so I'm working on making a working T-6B cockpit to practice at home
