Info for future 3rdParty for DCS: World

http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=90030

So, we've been listening to what you want on the forums and after long discussions within the team and with the publishers, we're happy to confirm development of the IRIS T-38A Talon for DCS: World!

This decision has been based largely on the feedback we've received from you guys on what you'd like to see, and based of course on the production assets available to us.

The T-38A Talon will be aimed at release prior to the F-15E, essentially allowing us to step up our skills in project development. Whilst we have yet to firmly set out project content, we are anticipating to include a training syllabus similar in structure and content to that which the US Air Force uses.

We will of course, be calling on the community to involve themselves where possible, and we will be providing regular updates on development to keep you all in the loop.

We look forward to the bright future this new platform brings and I hope you all will enjoy and take part in this next step in our development process.

Regards

David.

***BREAKING NEWS***

Tyrone Koppel reporting Here for the "Eye in the Sky"

Good evening, Tyrone Koppel here, with disturbing news that happened around 9PM EST on June 21st 2012.

Seems someone posted "Renders" of the Milviz T-38 in the Iris forum at DCS for their T-38.

The person who posted those pictures was named Roadburner440, coincidence? Meanwhile Milviz denies any involvment as they posted on their Facebook Page.

Well our NEWS Team did some investigative reporting and seems after searching Milviz's Forums found those same renders, but the problem is, the ones posted were not the same resolution they were much higher. Which can only mean the source pictures were posted from Milviz themselves. Also posted by the same name Roadburner 440 who is an Admin at Milviz. Which gives us evidence that they posted these screen shots on the IRIS subforum at DCS.

I present to you the ignominous unprecedental attack, I am warning you...this is...Graphic...

I can only speculate to why Milviz would act so unprofessional and childish to do such a thing. Our conclusions is that either they are upset that they do not have a contract Eagle Dynamics, and as some of you may know they have been having a feud with Iris for sometime. I for one find this to be a sad reminder of how a company should not act. Immediately contacted KrazyColin was unavailable for comments.

More to come as it happens.

I am Tyrone T.K Koppel Reporting from Los Angeles!

Those are some really REALLY nice images. Old though. I have better ones that are even nicer. That is some of our best work for sure. It would be pretty hard to beat that I think... so... I was pretty angry when I saw someone had posted our pics in the Iris DCS forums...

That said, If you're going to say stuff, better make sure it's true and not pure speculation or outright lies...

1) you didn't contact me (immediately or otherwise),(outright lie #1) In fact, I don't even know who you are... (what you are is another story entirely)

2) We didn't post it. (idle speculation at best) Just because someone (else) thinks it's pretty darned funny that Iris is doing the F-15E, the F-14D, the BD-??, a bunch of others and a T-38A, all in two years... and posted pics of what is, so far, the best T-38A out there... anywhere... doesn't mean that it was us or related to us in any way. However, it is a very VERY pretty plane....and just maybe someone wanted to show what a T-38A should look like. After all, that's what they do best... As well, we have a huge amount of very nice pictures of our T-38A in a large variety of liveries... why oh why would we use those old things?

3) i will not deny that we have a feud with Iris. (totally true but I bet YOU don't know why) Everyone who is in the business knows it and knows why too... Iris may deny it (as they do) but I have the proof that they never paid us for the Vulcan. Anyone who wants to see it? Let me know and I will send it off to you. Hence the feud. However, it goes no further than please give me my money....

4) It was not coincidence that I was doing what I normally do (idle speculation... again) ... I was, as I normally do at the end of the evening, checking up on what the competition is up too when I saw those images. I immediately contacted DCS and posted that comment on FB. (and I will assume that's exactly what David of Iris did though I just BET he wishes people like you would stop talking about it... you're going to make making a T-38A that's better than ours... very difficult indeed as comparisons will be made...) (in fact, I'm actually surprised it took this long for someone to point out that one already exists and has won stunning accolades... )

5) if and it's a big if, we were to post something like that, it would be in the non Iris forums. That way, it would be less likely to be deleted,,, yes? In fact, I might just do that now... :) (oh right... I don't even have an account)

In terms of DCS, I will not say exactly what is going on but suffice to say we were offered the F-15E first and we refused to do it. So your only other post is also, sadly, misinformed... If you wish to know why we refused, feel free to PM me and I will tell you. We are under NDA as far as other stuff goes but we are still talking with them. We are also way more picky about how we do things than some of our competitors. (no names mentioned but you are, of course, free to speculate...)

Btw, about the render sizes, those were sent out as a pack to SOH, Avsim and a slew of other places.

Finally, I notice that you have all of two posts... so I will assume that you are some sort of troll. Again. Which might even mean that YOU posted those pics... ey Tyrone Koppel of LA?

Sincerely

Colin

DCS product announcement.

I have the great pleasure in announcing that our very first DCS release will be the Northrop Grumman T-38C Talon!

Thanks to superb resources provided by contacts in the USAF and The Fighter Collection, we have everything we need to create an effective, in depth and diverse simulation of the United States Air Force's primary fast jet trainer!

If you feel you have something you can bring to the team to help us make the very best simulation of the T-38C, please let us know via the contact us tab at the top of this page.

We are both excited and full of energy for this new development!! We will of course have more news for you all as development progresses.
