June 15, 201213 yr I made a simple flight plan totalling 84 Km with two intermediate waypoints of about 25 miles. I have included the "Calculate TOC/TOD Waypoints”. The resulting log showed a -5 Km and -5 min ETE between my departure airport and TOC and -2Km and-1min ETE between the TOD and arrival airport. The cruise altitude was 5500 feet ASL and both airports were around 3000 ASL. Any ideas? Thanks for a great weather engine and a simple & efficient software. Mario Bergeron

June 15, 201213 yr Yes, for a C172 cruising at 103 KTAS, I simply put 500 fpm for the climb and descent. Well, the numbers computed are obviously wrong with the exception of time to climb which should be +5 minutes - time of descent would be the same and the distance taken for climb and descent should be similar. Have you tried the same computation using miles rather than km; since the TAS is in knots (not metric) I wonder if km might confuse the program? DJ
