Australian or NZ Voices

Featured Replies

Hi All

Has anyone found any Aussie voices to add? Only found one female..

Thanks

Hi

I take it you are refering to IVONA voice Nicole? If so thats the only one i know but it would be good if they did a male Aussie voice. They usually do male and female for each country but not so with Aus.

I wonder if they are actually aware that there products are used in Flight simulation and if so they should consider some modified radio type voices for FSX.

Kind Regards

Simon.

Yes it would be good with the static from the voxpop ones.

I tried the Voxpop but FSX just loads with 100% CPU for soo long I can't take it... I removed them its too slow.

Yes the VoxPop voices are a strain on CPU and memory. I'm still wondering how demanding the Ivona ones are in comparison to those. They do chew though your memory when there is a number of voices active (VoxPop & SAPI5). I know my memory usage is a lot higher when i use VoxATC.

Kind Regards

Simon.

Ivona now has a aussie male called Russell

“Flying should not be a journey to the destination with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved Aircraft,

but rather to skid sideways in a cloud of smoke down the runway, engines on fire, passengers screaming, physically worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! That was one hell of a Ride and we're on Schedule!”
