June 19, 201213 yr Hello, something puzzles me concerning weights on the WEIGHT INIT page on the FMC. Reading the Tutorial Flight 2 somewhere in the Weight and Take off data section says... "Although you got your final ZFW and CG data when using the load manager tool, this data normally is handed over to the pilots once loading of the aircraft is completed. With this you get the final ZFW and the ZFW CG to insert into the FMC". How can I get the final ZFW CG? What I do is that i fire the load manager first set pax weight and cargo weight, then i sent it to FSX and i 'order' the fuel realistically via the refueling panel. After refueling is over how can I get the new CG? I know there is a cheating mode with the right click on the mouse. Thank you Panos Kotzias

You can get this number on the Load Manager after choosing your payload. The TO CG can be received from the Load Manager if your fuel load is selected. If you do not select the fuel from the manager it will be invalid. If you choose the PMDG fuel menu or the realistic fueling from the FMS, you can get this number from the engine SD page. You can also get this number from the FMS (after refueling) by right clicking the right LSK on the FMS for the TO CG entry. ZFW means Zero Fuel Weight. That means the fuel is not in the equation for the ZFW CG. Kenny Lee"Keep climbing"
June 19, 201213 yr Author Hello Kenny, according to the 2nd tutorial at first in the WEIGHT INIt page the ZFW CG was 20 and on the Before Engine Start section the ZFW CG changed into 23.1? From where this data was taken? Panos Kotzias

From where this data was taken? Panos, the 20 is just preliminary data. After loading is completed you enter the final CG number, in this case 23.1. This explanation was taken from page 9. June 19, 201213 yr Author After loading is completed Kenny. this is what I don't understand. What loading is completed? As far as I know the loading is completed at the begining after you load the pax and the cargo from the load manager. After that sending it to the FSX the load is finished. The only action is the real time refueling or you mean that? Panos Kotzias

The loading would be after all the passengers are on board, carry-ons stowed, and cargo holds loaded. Nothing FSX related. Kenny Lee"Keep climbing"
June 19, 201213 yr Author Yes you are right. I think I must read the tutorial more carefully . Thank you Kenny Panos Kotzias
