Hello fellow simmers, I have the Box version of PMDG 737 800/900, with the old version installed (SP1c), and downloaded the update from the Aerosoft's support page. I followed the instructions step by step, uninstall 800/900 from Control Panel / Programs and Features, and run the update installer. After when everything is completed, I open the PMDG Operations Center, just to check if the latest version is actualy installed, and I got the followed message: The product is currently up to date 1.10.6461. So far so good. But! When opening FSX and loading the 737 I check the version via FMC and there it says Version 1.1 instead of SP1d. I'm a bit confused whether is installed or not. Jim, here I am again! :rolleyes: . This time my question is not a CTD question but about MyTraffic. I ask you here because we have the same Traffic programm. Where MyTraffic supposed to be on the Scenery Library? Placing it at the bottom of the list, all airplanes look alighned with the proper Parking Positions and correct Stands numbers. The contrary happens when I place MyTraffic on top of the list. Airplanes are misalighned on the Parking Positions and the Parking Stands numbers are not real or not all of them according to the airport charts. What I do wrong?

My story is a simpler one. I just installed it from the CD without touching any of the schedules and my version is V5.3b. How is that possible? I bought it 2 weeks ago!

Hello Jim, I'm not sure if I fully understood all the above. I disabled My Traffic from the Scenery Library, then I fired FSX and I didn't have AITraffic. I enabled back My Traffic from Scenery Library and I had again CTD after 20 mins. Opening MyTraffic\Scenery folder there are many AFCADs and I have no idea which AFCAD should I rename or delete. Hello fellow simmers, as the title says, I get a CTD after around 20 mins on ground with PMDG 777. It seems I get this CTD when using AI Traffic because without it everything worked fine. What I did: I deactivate my anti-virus and I made a complete update and re-installation of all my GEX Areas (Europe, North America, Africa and Middle East) Is the problem solved? I don't know. I hope yes. Jim, yes you are right. I was wrong. I checked at my scenery library and actually there is Aerosoft AFD and I moved it on top. What this thing is doing?

About the transparency, go to your FSX.cfg, locate the GRAPHICS section and add HIGHMEMFIX=1. That will solve your problem.

I know AES but I am talking about something that it looked like ASE, or something similar perhaps Im wrong, and it was always on top of the scenery library. I was always wondering what work does this thing. Everytime I was installing an Aerosoft airport this ASE, automatically was on top. Mostly I fly ORBX scenery and the interesting is that with ORBX I never got freezes or CTDs. Most of the trouble comes when I switch to Default Scenery via the ORBX Scenery Manager. In the default scenery i have many aerosoft airports, the GEX Europe and the FSPilot Ultimate Europe and on top of all, this ASE? I am not sure I will see it tonight perhaps it has another name.

I remember something called ASE and I saw it once upon a time sitting at the top of the scenery library but now I think i have not seeing it at the top. I will check it later when i go to my computer. There is an ASE uninstaller? If it has to be deleted it is not better to delete it from the Windows remove programs?

I do something else. When it freezes I click with the mouse anywhere on the screen then the screen goes white and then the CTD window pops up. This is strange! I don't have AES :smile:. Before i go through all these with simconnect and Windows Live I will disable my antivirus. Also, I remember once you told me to re-install my GEX Europe. Today I went to their site and I saw that they have major updates for their textures. So I will update Europe just in case and if still won't work, then I look for a solution with windows live and simconnect I checked the link about simconnect and i read about FSX RTM what is RTM? You said the simconnect is not properly installed. What do you mean by that? I don't remember that i saw anything about simconnect during the FSX installation and all the installation process went fine without any error notification

With great interest i read the opinions here between UT2 and MyTrafficX but I would like to share mine too but on a different AI tool. The new Traffic360! The descriptions about this package were really good. Lots of traffic, GA and tubliners, military, millions of real world schedules, a spotter at any airport, vehicle traffic at the airports and the list goes on. I got it, I installed it, and to my big surprise I found all the gates full of airplanes, which is good, but no movemets!. I was waiting, and waiting and again waiting, but nothing. At first I thought i bought an AI tool with static models! But no! at the forums there were other users complaining about the same thing. Another let down were the AI sounds. After 30 mins, yes 30 mins!! I saw an airplane moving! I thought at last! It was coming slowly, it was passing infront of my airplane, but the sound was like the mower maschine that my neighboor is using to cut the grass. And! it was taxing with open door and the staircase was down. It was so funny. Of course now they are preparing for a patch but I was so dissapointed that I uninstalled it. Now seriously I am thinking of purchasing the UT2, because I find the models look more realistic, and I think as a program is more stabilised but how exactly the schedules can be imported? I hope the manuals are explaining this

I checked it and strangely it has a _ between TrafficAircraft and BGL (TrafficAircraft._bgl). Should be deleted? I have another question: After uninstalling Traffic360 in the path FSX\SimObjects there is a folder with the name JFTraffic360 \ JFAI-AllAircraft \ XTraffic360_Sounds \ and after that there are sub sub folders with military, jets, rotorcraft, props and all are sounds. How come this sound folder exists after the unistalling? is it ok if i will just delete it? Thank you in advance

Hello, I made two test flights, duration 3 hours each, and everything works fine. It seems the problem was Traffic360. From the beginning this program had issues. In their forum there are people complaining about problems regarding AI aircrafts, sounds, AI schedules, airplanes taxing with open doors (I experienced this too) and the list goes on. How is it possible unfinished programs to be on the market promising things that actually don't give. This I will never understand.

I don't want to say big words but it seems that I found the solution! I uninstalled completely Traffic360 and it looks like working now! Of course to be fully sure I will make some other test flights and see what happens. I have the Traffic 360 from Just Flight that i installed it some months ago and that is when the problems started me thinks. I think that i will begin with this first. I went to scenery library i disabled Traffic 360 and when i load FSX, the traffic is there! How is this possible? It is disabled from the library and it is shown!
