I have been doing flights alot lately between LAS and LAX. Sometimes approach will give me 25L to land and I start to get all set up for that and then a few min. later it wants me to land 24R. Traffic is already landing on both so why would it change? I like for RC to assign the landing RWY but hate it when it cant make up its mind, especially in situations like at LAX where there are parallel runways in my example 25L or 24R.

without a log to definitively see what happened, it's usually because at the initial descent clearance, i look to see if there are any ai at the arrival airport, and determine what runway they are using. then when you contact approach, i check again. then before turning downwind, i check again. if at anytime, the ai change what they are doing, rc changes the runway.
