Simple question,does Microsoft force feedback 2 work with Windows XP.I cant seen to get any tension or forces at all on joystick.If not what joystick would be 2nd choice.I thought i read on the Microsoft site it doesnt work with XP,nor will it update any drivers,any ideas are much welcomed.

hi adambar,i'm using the FF2 stick with fs9 and with no probs. you don't need to install the drivers from the FF2 CD. just connect the power cord and connect the USB plug and Windows should detect the stick and install the drivers. after that you should be good to go. check to see if FF is enabled within fs9. if the drivers are installed correctly FF should be enabled automatically. keep in mind that the "forces" are a little weak in fs9 compared to fs2k2. (imho) hope you get it to working. happy flyin, fm

Keep in mind too that we have no constant forces (like retrun to centre spring) when FF is enabled.See you in the fence...CYYZ
