May 23, 200422 yr This has happened to me a few times and I wonder if anyone else has had this problem. Here's an example.Took off from Napier, New Zealand for Wellington. Flight was normal but when I was on finals, tuning in the ILS frequencies for Wellington's RW34 (109.9) or RW16 (110.3) resulted in no response from my instruments. Had a look on the FS map, and, sure enough, the ILS beams and frequencies for RWs 34 and 16 did not show.....bummer.Re-started FS and went directly to Wellington and both ILSs were working normally and were showing up on the map. Looks like they should have loaded in on my approach to Wellington, but didn't.Any ideas? John
May 24, 200422 yr Do you have any third party addon scenery for this area? If so, was it designed for FS2002 or earlier flight simulator's? Some addon scenery files can cause problems with the scenery generation engine. The data for the ILS, etc. is contained in the scenery files.W. Sieffert Bill Sieffert
May 24, 200422 yr Author Thanks for that.Come to think of it I do have mesh installed for new Zealand. Not airport scenery as such, or does mesh also include ILS data? Thanks, John
