May 23, 200422 yr I want to delete the GA and vintage a/c from the default AI traffic file. I have downloaded the GA remove package and the vintage remove package from the PAI website and the PAI installer - but am a bit confused as to what to do. The readme file seems to say that first I have to remove the Commercial traffic using the remove commercial package , then remove the GA traffic using the GA remove package , then re-install the commercial traffic using the commercial add package , then remove the vintage traffic using the vintage remove package.HUH??have I got that right?? Any help would be much appreciated.Barry
May 24, 200422 yr You're right, the procedure, as explain in the docs, is confusing. So confusing that I just made a backup copy of the existing traffic file and then did what I wanted to do. I ran the default GA remover and my taffic file got smaller. Then I ran the vintage A/C remover and the file got smaller still so I assume that both worked.I reread the docs after seeing your post and I must admit that now I'm wondering if they both worked. I suppose that I'll have to remove the GA-Traffic file now and test whether the PAI removers did their thing. Thanks Barry, you ruined my evening!!!!!!!! R-
May 24, 200422 yr :-lol If you download and install the Traffic Toolbox SDK from http://www.microsoft.com/games/flightsimulator/ , downloads, FS2004SDK, you can monitor all the AI traffic. You could also download and install AITM - http://www.molitor-home.de/FS/AITM or yRoute - http://www.spacejock.com/ to review what aircraft and flightplans are installed in your trafficxxx.bgls.I guess it all depends on what you want for AI traffic. However, in real life when I go fly, I see and hear GA and airline traffic.W. Sieffert Bill Sieffert
