July 9, 201213 yr Hi guys , I need some help to decide if i should upgrade my system , Currently i have a system , see specs below , but want to change to a Ivy bridge 3770 K , Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD5H-WB iZ77 motherboard , Corsair 4x4GB, DDR3, PC12800, CL7 memory , MSI Videokaart PCI-e GeForce GTX680 Lightning 2GB graphic card , Corsair SSD 2.5", 240GB, SATA600 disk . I mainly use my system for FSX but my children use it for playing other games , school etc . Will there be a big improvement in FSX with upgrading ? Thanks in advance , Best regards , Gérard Best regards , Gérard van Veldhoven
July 11, 201213 yr Yes, tremendous. More so if you overclock, which I assume you will. Don't expect to get more than about 4.7GHz though.
July 13, 201213 yr Author ok thanks but is the difference in oc between 4.7 and 4.2 so big because fsx is a cpu game or does the new graphic card GTX 680 also makes a huge difference ? How many fps could i get with a new system with the specs above ? Thanks , Best regards , Gérard van Veldhoven
