FSX Alaska

Recommended Posts

After all the recent Alaska discussion in the Flight forum, I decided to try some cold weather flying in FSX.

I started free flying out of Sitka and headed into the mountains without a plan. I know, bad idea. After clearing some high passes, my airspeed indicator got stuck in a vertical position for some reason. I tried to tap it, but that didn't help. Eventually, I turned on the GPS and decided to head for Juneau. As I descended my airspeed indicator needle came unstuck and started working again. I came in to land a bit high and slid across the runway, but the plane and I were both in one piece.

Flight and FSX certainly cannot escape displaying thier close family resemblance, including the slightly rounded hills!

We are all connected..... To each other, biologically...... To the Earth, chemically...... To the rest of the Universe atomically.
