July 17, 201213 yr Just had a flight from Bristol to Nice in the airbus a321 by IFDG, with Eric Marcianos panel, in fs9. What a treat! No virtual cockpit but superb wing/engine views, used fs9's flight planner (no FMC) and, of course, fsnav for approach and nav frequencies. Used Descentometer gauge for Vnav and seat adjust gauge for view changes (remember them!). Very detailed model and loads of repaints. Also plenty of free sounds to fine tune your aircraft. After also flying fsx and downloading evermore realistic packages, it was so relaxing just to go back and really enjoy a familiar flight with greatframe rates, no stress!! Mike
July 17, 201213 yr Mike, thank you for this nice reminder. I remember those days more than 5 years ago, when I had rounded the world three times with David Copleys P-38 L and wanted to try now such a thing called "Airbus". For this I prefered iFDG A319, particularly with a LAN Chile CC-COY on the route SCEL-SCFA-SCEL which I had flown with in real life shortly before. I have to admit that I soon gave up flying the jetliners and returned to my beloved piston engines. Harald Geyer Gründer der Messerschmitt Freunde Dresden v. V.
