August 8, 201213 yr Hi Ray, thanks for your suggestion. In some way I'll provide to show an almost full-screen board. About the shared network drive, which is the string that is display in the FSUIPC tab? On my laptop AITT2 created a Z: network drive pointing to the remote one but...it is my laptop ;) Perhaps I can arrange setting the FSPath simply to thr network one... At the next, tks
August 11, 201213 yr Author Moderator Hi geniX, I don't understand your question "which is the string displayed in the FSUIPC tab?" If I click the FSUIPC tab the following is displayed:- RT Scan 3 mins Monitor Refresh 4 mins Enable aircraft type collection is ticked. Or did you mean something else? The FSUIPC Connect button is disabled presumably because I'm running via WideFS. I have one question and please don't take this as a criticism. When I press Monitor Live it takes nearly a minute before the fights are displayed at a major airport (EDDF). But launching TrafficLook by Pete Dowson all the ground aircraft are displayed in a few seconds. Is that because different languages are used? I believe TrafficLook was written in C+. August 15, 201213 yr Hi Ray, in the FSUIPC tab, must be an WideFS network path box, displaying the info coming from WideFS. If there is no such text, you are a version before eheheheheheh. B) Yes, the FSUIPC button is disabled when the connection is alive. In final, about the differences with traffictool: also AITT2 is build with C++. The problem is that the test-app of P.Dowson simply create a grid with data coming from fsuipc.dll without any inferences with it. AITT2, for example, need to localize the traffic file for each a/c to retrieve all info in order to build the user interface. This is the wasting time; but asap I'll try to investigate if it is possible to speed-up something. Thanks, as usual VM
August 19, 201213 yr Author Moderator Hi VM, The FSUIPC version reported by AiTT2 is 3.999iFS2004. However FSUIPC on my FS PC is 3.999u. Why the difference? It reports WideFS rel 6.940 which is correct. I appreciate AiTT2 is doing far more than Pete's TrafficLook. Sorry for suggesting it might not be as efficient. C++ is certainly as fast as you can get! August 28, 201213 yr Hi Ray, your comment are always accepted as they wish to deal with a better software. Anyway, today or tomorrow a new release of AITT2 (and next also AITT2FSX) will be available with a couple of enhancements suggested from another user... Thanks!
August 28, 201213 yr Author Moderator Hi geniX, That sounds good. Look forward to trying it later this week. Ray (Cheshire, England). September 2, 201213 yr Author Moderator Thanks geniX. Please let us know when it's available. I have some high priority commitments so may not be able to try it for a week or so. October 19, 201213 yr Hi to all, a new release of AI Timetable 2 for FS2004 is now available. The component bitmap that represents the monitor is not able to resize when needed. The big monitor is always at 1024x768 pixels. I hope this could be ok for you. Here the patch Thanks to all.
October 21, 201213 yr Thank you Genix! Would it be possible to run two 800x768 windows?? That would be ideal for a 1920*1080 monitor... Also, would it be possible to manually enter the user flight # rather than pulling it from the aircraft.cfg? I would like to be able to change the flight # easily on a flight by flight basis. Just my .02... Thank you very much again, I really enjoy AITT2!!! Have a Wonderful Day -Paul Solk
October 21, 201213 yr Author Moderator Hi geniX, Too late tonight to download and try the new version. I look forward to trying it towards the weekend. Thank you very much for continuing to improve this very useful utility. Ray (Cheshire, England). October 23, 201213 yr Hi Ray and PSolk, thanks for your support. I'll try in the next release to fullfill your requests; anyway, about the flight#, could you make a check simply changing flight# by "Selecting aircraft" dialog in FS2004, please? This because AITT2 needs a .pln to work and the flight# is that come from the user aircraft.cfg. So, changing these from tha Aircraft menù should be better, just because the ATC will change the flight# vocalization accordingly. Thanks again,my people!
November 8, 201213 yr Dear GeniX, It seems that I"m facing the same issue than Ray last month, i.e. flights are displayed on both monitors but Flight numbers are stuck at 0 and Time on 0 + GMT (eg. 4:00am at Charlotte Douglas Intl.). All departure flights appear "Delayed" or "Closed". Only User"s flight shows its Flight number and correct Time. At the buttom of the AI tIme Table2 console (Client PC) it's shown "FSUIPC rel. 3.999 FS2004" and "WideFS rel 6.700 TCP On Connect On". In the Aitt2.ini, I entered the FSPasth in the [General] section, this way: FSPath=\\Server name\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\ (where FS9.exe is located). I"d appreciate your support in fixing this issue. Kind Regards, Marc
November 9, 201213 yr Dear Genix, In the meantime I looked deeper into my issue and tried to change the FSPath (looked to be wrong). From now on, all seem to work correctly. Many thanks anyway. Looking forward to see a next AITT upgrade... Kind Regards, Marc
November 11, 201213 yr Author Moderator Hi geniX, I finally got round to installing the latest build today. The 'big monitor' option certainly helps in making flights easier to read, thanks. I do have one issue with the display. Based at London Gatwick the airport name is being truncated as you can see on this screenshot. Anything you can do about that? Ray (Cheshire, England).
