July 28, 201213 yr Hi, This is a first. Yesterday while flying at cruize altitude FL390, the aircraft started to roll from left to right appreciably and almost banked at 50 deg. As a result 1) I started getting "Bank Angle: warnings 2) LNAV switched off many times as I tried to manually stabilize the path. 3) Autopilot switched off CMD-A. I could never get it back on. There were no warning signs other than the bank angle. Is this something to do with winds at high altitude? Are there any simple resolutions? Thanx Sanjay Dhareshwar
