July 30, 201213 yr Hi, How do I make the "orb" of a camera smaller? When moving external custom cameras created in EZDOK, if I get too close to the model, I take a "bite" out of it. The camera seems to have a large invisible, model-eating radius..Is there any way of minimising this or is it just something I have to live with? I know I can get as close as possible and then zoom in my view, but this induces "depth-of-field" with the scenery behind or through whatever I'm looking at..trying to avoid this. I can move a VC camera outside the AC and it can get right up to the skin of whatever is modelled outside the VC in the VC view (with the Legacy, it's a slightly lower rez model of the whole plane!! Yay!) But I'd like to be able to use an external camera if possible. Is this an EZDOK problem? Thanks jake JAKE EYREIt's a small step from the sublime to the ridiculous...Napoleon Bonaparte
July 30, 201213 yr i've also had this problem, the sdk suggests ClipMode=Minimum in the camera definition will help but didn't solve my problem. scott s. .
July 31, 201213 yr Author Thanks, Scott..I'll give that a try..It must be possible as the VC cams don't do it..I'm going to do some comparing of cfg files. I've also asked the question over at EZDOK forums..I'll report back if I get anywhere cheers, Scott jake JAKE EYREIt's a small step from the sublime to the ridiculous...Napoleon Bonaparte
