DX10 Preview - Repaint Aircrafts?

Featured Replies

I've been searching the forums but I'm obviously not that good at it. Can you or can you not fix some/most fs9 aircrafts using something like Photoshop for DX10 Preview to render them properly? I know there's addon converter but if I can do it myself, I would rather. Also, every time I searched all I saw where people complaining about dx10 preview and their advice was turn it off. I like it and it gives me a big boost in fps so I'm not looking to turn it off. I'll even continue to fly in DX10 Preview without the textures if I have to but I'd rather not.

Someone please point me in the right direction if you can.

I have Add-On Converter X but if I remember rightly you have to point it at an executable ('imagetool.exe' iirc) in the SDK. I would think that's the thing that does the converting and once you know how to use it you could essentially do would AOCX does but for free. First thing to do would be to install the FSX SDK if you haven't, and have a look for imagetool.exe and what it does.
