I was recommended Milton Shupe's wonderful D18 but I'm having a problem with the vc the screen below shows:

 

 

I d/l it from a different source but the result was the same.

 

I thought maybe if I got a different version of the D18 it might fix it. So I d/l the Rusty Myers float plane and that was worse!!

 

 

Can someone please help me as I really would like to fly these great planes.

When I fly Milton Shupe's Beech D18 in Flight Sim X it has the same problem as yours when DX10 is turned on. With DX10 turned off the Beech works perfectly.

Yep, FS9 aircraft don't usually work well in FSX DX10 mode. It's always best to stick with FSX native aircraft to avoid issues.
