Hi

I'm upgrading my motherboard. When I initially built my computer I got the H67 by mistake so can't overclock my i5.

Now im looking at this..

ASUS P8Z68-M Pro LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard with UEFI BIOS

I just want to be absolutely sure that this is able to be overclocked.

Also.

What are your opinions on the GTX560? I've seen some things that say they are far better then the AMD Radeon 6450 I have now. Is this so? Do they perform well with fsx? I dont want to spend to much right now and this is a good price.

Thanks lee

Yes youll be able to oc with that main board. Also I might suggest waiting for the GTX 660ti that's due out later this month. Should be in the same price range as the 560 and will blow it out of the water.

Thanks.

The 660 does look good. The thing is, ive found a 560 for $120 and stuff on the Internet is saying that the 660ti will be in the $200-300 range. Currently I have an AMD 6450 so the GTX560 is a good jump in performance.

So for the price I don't think I'll be disappointed. What do you think?

Cheers

Having not used either card I can't say other than nVidia is much better for FSX than AMD.

Thanks I appreciate it. Im leaning towards the 560 for the price, but we will see. I was getting good performance with fsx already, can't wait to see what it's like with a 560 and over clocked i5!

Thanks again

The GTX560 is leaps and bounds faster than your HD6450, which is an entry level GPU for basic tasks, definitely not a gaming card

Thanks everyone.

I think the GTX560 is the one I will get.
