green spirals in the sky

Hi,

 

Just today when I loaded FSX, during my flight I noticed green spirals in the sky. They are everywhere. I have never seen them before, they are not causing any issues but they are annoying.

 

Has anyone seen these before?They run vertically.

Sounds like you have thermals turned on in the Weather Tab.

I would say you have under Settings > Customize > Weather tab > Thermal visualization drop down box > ... you probably have "Schematic" selected...

 

yeah as Jim said... shows you where thermals are (for glider ops).
