Edit: I got something else going on I think.. I'll update later..

Ok.. Sorry this took 3 posts. I get double characters when entering in airports or airport IDs.. In turn the G1000 will keep the keyboard focus and other things like pressing Z to activate the AP won't work you have to enter (on the g1000) through to regain keyboard control..

 

Edit #2: If I operate it directly it seems to work fine.. Using the popup panel of it is what is screwy.

Same here. Was this ever fixed? I have installed both service packs.
