August 17, 201213 yr I am running FSX on Win7 64 bit on a nVidia surround setup with registered FSUIPC 4.84 and LINDA 1.11 running with admin rights. When I start LINDA I get an "Invalid pointer operation" warning box as the program starts. I have a CH yoke and a Razer Nostromo game pad pluged in but neither are shown in LINDA. Joysticks/HID devices and FSX/FSUIPC configs are both showing "Everything is ok!" in LINDA. Any ideas? Thanks, gb. YSSY. August 23, 201213 yr If you have a touch screen monitor turn it off before you launch LINDA, then when its running correctly then turn on the monitor. I have a Dell ST2220T and if its switched on before loading LINDA I get the same error. Cheers, Andy.

August 26, 201213 yr Maybe try loading linda while you are still in single screen mode and see if if launches OK then. If that works then you should be able to enable the other two screens again. Update FSUIPC while you are at it, I know there have been a few issues with that of late that have only been fixed in the last 24 hours or so, I think there is another update due out today. If none of that helps then I would try removing LINDA completely and start again with a fresh install. You should be able to back up the Linda CFG folder and copy that back in again after you have confirmed LINDA working with a fresh install. Cheers, Andy.
September 29, 201213 yr Was this ever resolved? I have the same problem. Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit running on a Sony "All-in-One". I have tried turning off Touch an Pen to no avail. I have run out of ideas! Any help gratefully received!
September 29, 201213 yr I'm not sure what touch an pen is but if its an integrated piece of hardware in your Sony PC then you may need to actually disable it at a driver level to get Linda to load if its the same issue as I had. For me it was easy I just turned the power off to my Touchscreen monitor until Linda was loaded, in your case you will probably have to go into device manager and look for this Touch An Pen device and disable its driver. Cheers, Andy.
September 29, 201213 yr Well thanks Andy, you are absolutely right! For anyone with a Touch Screen Sony, it is not enough to simply turn the facility off. The driver as Andy said must be disabled. On my system: go to Device Manager and look for "NextWindows 1950 Touch Screen" under Human Interface Devices. Right click and disable. Thanks once again.
December 23, 201213 yr I've since found out that if you have two mouse devices plugged into the same PC you get the same error, hopefully now that its known how to cheaply reproduce this error it may be possible to get it fixed. Cheers, Andy.
