I know this has been breifly talked about already, I do not own the Carenado T182T yet but i do have the mindstar G1000 and i was able to get it to work with the FSX default cessna 172 VC.

 

I know someone said that it CANT be done with the carenado model,Im not trying to start a debate here but has anyone tried yet to see if that is a fact. If anyone has tried with success OR failure i would be interested in reading your comments,and thanks for your time!

 

The carenado model looks really good but for me if the mindstar G1000 for sure cannot be intergrated im going to skip this one.

Interesting question. My guess is that the 3D model of the VC will interfere with the Mindstar plans. But I don't own any of the products, so lets see the outcome.

I don't own either of the products but Carenado glass avionics tend to be a 3d model.

 

So basically what will happen is the mindstar g1000 will show up behind the carenado g1000, it will probably look not very nice.
