Rename your fs9.cfg file to fs9.OLD. Restart fs2004, let it stabilize, select a flight, and see if the problem is corrected. If so, your fs9.cfg file must have had a corrupted entry for your graphics card. If the problem is not corrected, delete the new fs9.cfg and rename fs9.OLD to fs9.cfg.Press start, run..., type dxdiag, OK. On the System tab review the DirectX version (9.0b is recommended), Select the Display tab, ensure DirectDraw, Direct3d, and AGP Accelerations are enabled. Run the DirectDraw and Direct3d tests and note any errors. If any or all the accelerations are grayed out, you need to reinstall/update your motherboard controller chip drivers. You might also reinstall/update your graphics adapter drivers.W. Sieffert

Check your video cable for bent pins on the end that plugs into the computer. You may be able to straighten them with tweezers.

"Check your video cable for bent pins on the end that plugs into the computer. You may be able to straighten them with tweezers."As an FYI, if the screenshot is being captured with those colors and that's how the jpg is saved, then the issue isn't bent pins on the video cable. When taking a screenshot (or any print of the screen), the cpu can't "see" nor doesn't care about what's displayed on the monitor. It only sees the RGB values in video memory. The monitor can even be unplugged, and one can still capture a screenshot. As suggested here, likely the problem is messed up gamma settings for the video card. -John
