I am not familiar with the author, and the screenshots are horrible. Has anyone read his books? If so what's your opinions?

I have Flight-Sim Navigation and Glass Simming Garmin 1000. He is a very good writer. Books are well written. Particularly for the Glass Simming book I would prefer color plates. His books are B&W only and in a spiral bound format. It would be nice if he would have PDF versions with everything in color which would be nice to read on my iPad. However, subject matter is the meat and potatoes and is well done.
