Hi: I just bought a new computer 4gig processor 16 gig memory 2gig video card and installed fsx on it. It runs great ... Frame rates from 70 up to 189fps. I have one plane from FSD that I use alot and it worked great in FSX on my old win XP machine...now when I load it, it loads ok at the airport and everything is going great.. frame rate76... can zoom and pan in views ... switch to external views... but when I make a mouse click anywhere it crashes to desktop.. It's driving me batty!!! I ran event viewer and here are a copy of the results..

Does someone have any idea whats going on FSD just said the designer of the plane is no longer with them and they couldn't help !!!!

Thanks in advance... Chip

I could not find anything regarding 'ckpsound.dll'. It must be a dll that came with the aircraft. Make sure it is located on your computer. I'm researching other things and will add more if I find anything.

Best regards,

Jim

I see you also posted this in the FSX Forum as well as over at the Flightsim forum. In the FSX Forum, it appears Tim from FSD has provided the info you needed. In addition to Tim's comments, I hope you installed the product as the Administrator (right click on the product .exe program and select 'Run as Administrator'. Make sure UAC and any antivirus program is disabled too as these programs sometimes prevent changes to the system registry or won't install a file thinking it might be a virus.

Best regards,

Jim
