HI: I keep having a problem on the G1000 with the autopilot not capturing and holding the glide slope during approaches. After entering the approach into the G1000 I usually also tune the Ils Freq into Nav 1. While flying with the gps on and in the nav mode. I will intercept the ILS and then using the cdi button I switch over to ILS 1 and get the ILS and GS indicators on the HSI. With the other Carenado planes using the xps530 when I intercept the Gs the alt hold function disengages and the approach mode flies the approach down the GS to 500ft when I then take over manually. However on the G1000 when I intercept the GS the alt function never disengages and I have to do it manually. Anyone have any ideas what I am doing wrong or is this a problem with the G1000. HI: Can anyone tell me if there is a way to turn off the audible traffic warnings on the G1000 PFD while still showing the traffic symbols on the MFD? I can't seem to figure it out, and in high traffic areas it's very annoying.. Thanks... Al Skorich

Hi: Was just trying to see if the reality XP gns430 waas xp can be installed into the v35b virtual cockpit just using the supplied reality xp config. editor? Has anyone done this, and if so have any problems been encountered? Just checking before purchasing the gns430... Thanks... Al

Haven't made any changes to KSUS... Tried 110.55 and didn't work. Checked ILS frequency with ade and it shows 111.1.. It's really wierd because all the other aircraft that I fly work OK with that ILS... Carenado V35, RealAirDuke, etc.... A real Stumper... I also had another real stumper a while ago when I bought the FSD 337 and it worked great great till you hit the mouse button or keystroke.. No one could ever figure that one out not even their support... Just uninstalled it and went back to the Vtail..... Al

Bert: Thats exactly what happens every time... It only so far, happens at KSUS... when the message comes on to switch to VLOC with the CDI button this always happens and the NAV and NAV1/NAV2 light goes off and the GA/GS andVOR/LOC lights never come on... Hi Bert: Yes I switched the NAV frequency... I hate to be such a pain in the neck but It just will not work at KSUS RWY 08 ILS app. I attached a screen shot of it working at another airport in the are.. KALN RWY 29 ILS so I can proove its works at other airports... Makes me wonder if age is catching up with me... haha...Just one other question then I'm giving up on this particular problem... What was your frequency for the ILS RWY 08 approach in your sim... Mine is 111.1 even though on the new charts it shows 110.55. Don't know if this makes a difference or not . Could not find any files on avism that update the approaches at ksus.... Thanks for all the info and your time... Al

Hi Bert: I think it is working properly... I just did 2 additional flights into differenent airports and it worked like it should have. Can you try an approach using it into KSUS Ils RWY 08 FTZ trans. and see if yours works ok at this airport.. Maybe Its just at this airport which happens to be my home based airport... The C210 still flys the approach OK at ksus... Don't figure.... In regards to how I fly the approach...What I do is select the approach using the gns530 and activate it.. fly to the IP with the GPS in nav Mode and alt set on autopilot. A message pops up on the 530 saying to select vloc on CDI for approach. I just wait until the autopilot ga/gs lights up and hit vor/ils to cancel nav function. Thanks for the quick reply..... Al

Hi: Just bought the reality xp GNS530 package and installed it into the 337 using the carenado rxp install utility. Everything works good except the gslope flag on the hsi stays up all the time and when I switch to vloc when it said to both the gslope and loc flags pop up thus not allowing me to use the hsi.. Any ideas.... I am fairly new with the gns530 package so if I have to edit a ini or cfg file please tell me where it is... Also installed it into the carenado 210 and it worked perfectly... uninstalled and reinstalled it back into the 337 and same thing happens... any help will be appreciated. Thanks Al

Hi: I just bought a new computer 4gig processor 16 gig memory 2gig video card and installed fsx on it. It runs great ... Frame rates from 70 up to 189fps. I have one plane from FSD that I use alot and it worked great in FSX on my old win XP machine...now when I load it, it loads ok at the airport and everything is going great.. frame rate76... can zoom and pan in views ... switch to external views... but when I make a mouse click anywhere it crashes to desktop.. It's driving me batty!!! HI; I just purchased and installed the FSD C337 H aircraft on FSX. Whenever I load it to fly the engines just suddenly quit and won't start. All other aircraft in FSX and other add ons doesn't have this problem they all work OK. I tried everything I know, check fuel flow, mixture controls, switched tanks but it just won't restart. I even load another aircraft which is running then switch back to the C337H and it shuts down again. Does anyone have this problem or know of a fix? Any ideas would be appreciated....I tried the FSD forum and all they said was that the designer of the aircraft is not with them any longer and they don't support it. How could they still sell it and not support it? Thanks for any help... Al Skorich
