FSD C337H engine problems

Featured Replies

HI; I just purchased and installed the FSD C337 H aircraft on FSX. Whenever I load it to fly the engines just suddenly quit and won't start. All other aircraft in FSX and other add ons doesn't have this problem they all work OK. I tried everything I know, check fuel flow, mixture controls, switched tanks but it just won't restart. I even load another aircraft which is running then switch back to the C337H and it shuts down again. Does anyone have this problem or know of a fix? Any ideas would be appreciated....I tried the FSD forum and all they said was that the designer of the aircraft is not with them any longer and they don't support it. How could they still sell it and not support it? Thanks for any help... Al Skorich

Maybe you already tried this.

From their support FAQ:

Q For some reason my engines stop and I cannot restart them. A Open the Load Manager and check to make sure the engines are not damaged. This could be the problem. Also, if you have hardware controls for the mixture levers check your calibration. It could be your mixture is nulling out via the hardware, causing fuel starvation to the engine. Another, and more likely possibility is a conflict in the data settings in whatever "Flight" you have loaded when you selected the aircraft.

Hi: Thanks for the info.. I already tried the load manager and everything is ok... Trying to check the data settings in the flight loading but haven't figured out how to do that yet....

Hi mate, yeah, same happened to me. Look in the load manager and check the engine condition. You'll see that it loads brand new with damaged engines.....go figure? Reset ort repair the engines, save, and you're good to go.

Geoff.
