Saving a Flight Plan (FP)

Is it possible to save a FP without have to save the "panel state" at same time ? If "yes", how to load only it (FP) without changing my panel state ?

There should be sticky for importing flights plan or at least a section in the manual if there isn't already. This is common thread which appears every other week.
