FS2004 and MyTraffic 2006

Featured Replies

Is there any way to get a plane from MT2006 to be flyable on the flight sim? (By flyable i mean can I fly it...??) Thanks!

I don't think you can in this case. If it is possible, I wonder if the effort is worth it..

You can make any plane "flyable" by changing the aircraft type from 2 to 0. (You will need a utility such as Air Ed). That means it will show up in your aircraft selection screen. But that doesn't mean it's really "flyable." Most AI aircraft have an air file that is unsuitable for user flying and are virtually uncontrollable, though some do use the default aircraft air files.. My advice is don't even bother. I doubt there is anything in My Traffic that is not available somewhere on the various FS web sites as a true user flyable aircraft.

If you really want to fly a particular type of aircraft, post a question on here and you will get plenty of help in finding what you want.

Cheers

Ian
