Migrating from FSX to X-plane
I think you will see that X Plane has come along ways and has so much more to offer in so many ways. I made the move a year ago and have seen so much improvement in just a year, and more is coming real soon. P.S. one thing which I really really like about XP is the simple way in which scenery can be added and removed, and the scenery add-on's by the community is just outstanding.

[03MAR15] PMDG's First Product for XPlane...
Looks fantastic and I will be looking at this very closely. I love these old planes and this one could take some time to learn, back to Flight 101 and plz continue to give us more here at XPlane

Another X-plane Scenery Developer taps out.
As a new user of XPlane, the scenery which comes for free from many in the XPlane community is in many respects just as good as those who charge and more often then not is more then acceptable. I for one do not pay much attention to payware scenery (and this comes w/ experience) and look at it as a money pit. I spend far more time flying in the acrft and enjoy it far more then the few minutes I am at any airport. My sim experience over a year will take me to airports world wide by the dozens and dozens. But for many, payware is worth the expense, just not for this simmer. ^_^ And w/ or w/out April Fools day, my comments stand

UFOs on the MOON !?
What's worse is that they so often(that's 99.9%) ignore what should be slapping them in the face w/ common sense and simple facts. These shows prey on the ignorance of many and the stupidity of others, that is not to say that life elsewhere cannot exists, it means until I see one from somewhere other then Hollywood etc. I don't buy these notions and neither should others. I really get angry how so many have bought into the theory that man has not been to the moon just because some show placed a lot of absolute BS into their minds. Nothing about this particular show(s) had any science or truth behind it, and that's where ignorance takes hold, which is the first step to stupidity.

UFOs on the MOON !?
Why did we never return, so simple and I fear I have to ###### on the party, economics son, economics. Look at the history of NASA and our gov. policy for spending the vast, and I mean vast amount of dollars just to send 1 Saturn 5 into orbit. If you don't believe me, you are too young. UFO does not mean it has to come from another planet :o what, you mean they are not all aliens, yup.  Was a commercial pilot and probably explains why he is not flying for the USAF Thank god it was not a B-2 bomber w/ a nuke

UFOs on the MOON !?
Plz put me at rest Strider1 and tell me you are not a commercial pilot, plz :(

I don't know what your reading, but that was not suggested in any way by me, and (2) you obviously are not or did not read my initial post carefully. Try again

Look many pilots have problems, and this accident has brought to light some serious questions and if you had read my first post on this you would understand.

Germanwings 4U9525 dissapears over the Alps
I debated if I should even respond to your rebuttal, if you think a 27 year old w/ only 500 hours or even a 1000 belongs in the cockpit of a complex jet as this then you nn to go have a long think. . His time in the cockpit was a joke and I hope that German Wings and or DLH gets taken to the cleaners. I have worked for many airlines and I don't know of anyone of them that would allow someone w/ his obvious lack of experience to jump right into a large jet w/out first spending many (hundreds) hours flying smaller acrft. You cannot even defend this action by the airline, and this sort of practice needs to stop industry wide. I have known hundreds of pilots who spent 1000's of hours flying in all conditions w/out an autopilot before even being considered to fly a complex jet. I am sure QANTAS is damn thankful they did not have this experience level when their A380 suffered a major malfunction. There is an old saying in show business, don't practice on the public's dime. German Wings has a lot to answer for about this guy and his employment record. Still in shock  By the way, no one said he should not get experience flying w/ an airline, read more carefully.

How would you feel, if your a parent then you can answer your own question.

Germanwings 4U9525 dissapears over the Alps
As w/ most aviation safety/security, most policies are designed to try and prevent but more importantly to make it more difficult for events to take place. Nothing is fool proof, at least up to this date. The die was cast many years ago and Pandora's box is open. As w/ so much which wrong these days and I see plenty wrong here, this pilot's qualifications and the airlines policy for hiring. In no way is this to imply this could have been prevented, but it is a trend which is becoming more and more the norm. Pilots have always been placed high on the social scale of professions. Maybe it is time for the industry to step back and look at what is flying the trusting public. I don't think a 27 year old w/ the flying time he had, the medical issues should be anywhere near a complex jet let alone a passenger jet. Forget all this how it works stuff, that's not the real issue, the issue is how does a pilot who takes leave for mental problems get back into a jet (so has been reported), hence I go back to my earlier comment. The flying public has a right to have only the best and most experienced flying them around. Pilots are a dime a dozen, and it is high time that airlines stop hiring inexperience.

If it quacks like a duck, walks like a duck, it must be a duck, that's my theory. This event may go well beyond just a pilot, but a mind set w/in a society, country an airline, draw your own conclusions. One fact is for sure, no one knows yet what happened, but the evidence is mounting. Some of the theories I have been reading are just  and anything is possible  .

Society is full of abnormal behavior and pilots, military, FBI are no different. A degree in psychology is no protection from someone bent on doing abnormal things. You will never totally be able to stop these events until a plane can be controlled from the ground by someone other then the pilots, and that I don't see on the horizon. PS, by the way he was screened, upon his return to flight status after his leave from flying for 6 mo. as so reported.

I can recall many that were "shredded". Aircraft accidents are never pretty.

757, soon?
The original B-767 Pilot in Command by Wilco was released in 2000 for FS2000. At the time it was w/out question the most advanced acrft available, and was the first acrft with a most advanced FMC for flight simming . I learned how to use the FMC w/ this acrft and it really is still competitive w/ what is available today. When FS2004 came out Level D released the arcft w/ updates to fit the tech. for FS9/Century of Flight. I do not remember what updates were added to improve the acrft, I am sure out side lighting was one, LDG lights etc. So this acrft has a long history, it is possible that Level D just found it to time consuming along w/ other issues w/in the company to try to produce a new acrft and be able to support the project. When the 767 came along it was way ahead of it's time but now it has become a relic of past technology, it is possible that the 757 in progress just got behind the times and was given up on. Just a thought, but in any case, I think one should just leave this project alone until word comes from the project engineers if ever. Thanks Wilco and Level-D for the 767, it was my favorite plane in FS2000/02 and I only came to FS9 when I found out about it's re-release for that platform by Level D. For that acrft to still have legs is a testament to it's quality and technology. If I have made any errors in the timeline plz correct me, it was along time ago, and old men do have memory issues lol

757, soon?
This has been going on for years, and I mean years, for those still hoping and waiting, it happens when it happens, and at this point the 757 in reality is being phased out to a great extent. I dare say that the market in FSX and/or P3D for the 757 will reflect the real world market. B)
