June 23, 200421 yr Hey everyone... check out these videos. The first one is a big file at 50MB, but it's worth it, in my opinion. June 24, 200421 yr It would sure would have been nice to see some VID of the SuperKings flight deck in action.....I can only take 30 seconds of the wing view at a time......Otherwise nice VID.....
June 24, 200421 yr Todd,Very nice videos. The ways you used Active Camera and edited the 738 piece were very inventive and well done. As one who enjoys both bush flying and wing views (not often found together), I rather liked the B200 clip as well. It's kind of funny how I'm flying for the pilot when watching a video from the cockpit during landing but just sit back for the ride in anxious expectation of landing during wing view landings. I guess you can't second guess what you can't see... Bottom line, nice videos.:-)Happy flying,Kevin
June 24, 200421 yr Todd, really nice work.......I've begun playing with FRAPS and movie maker 2 to try to produce some quality items........boy, sure does end up being alot of work if you want a nice product.I don't believe most simmers know how difficult a good video is to make, and how time consuming it is....from the planning stage, to fliming, flying it, and putting it all together.By the way, you fly very well . . . I'm a real world pilot with in excess of 15K hours in the big stuff......you handled the 737 like a pro.Best to you and yours,Clayton T. DopkeMajor, USAF (retired)"Drac"trying to be Cecil B. June 24, 200421 yr Thank you all for the great comments! I do apologize to those of you who didn't like the wing view. Personally, I just thought it was interesting because you get the experience of riding along on a hairy landing... but I'm planning on doing more videos of the B200, so keep an eye out for that. flynman, I'll do the flight deck on the next video... I think I'll do a cold n' dark start up using the VC. You might like that ;)Clayton, thank you very much for yourapproval of my flying... personally, the approach didn't go as well as they typically do for me. Mainly because I descended too steeply and turned on the landing lights much too late... minor details like that. However, I'm thinking about doing another airliner video as well. Thanks again for your comments.Kepp an eye out, ya'll, for another set of FS videos!
