September 4, 201213 yr Here's an aircraft no developer has made yet, the Fairchild F-27 and FH-227, bet PMDG could do a great job modeling this plane.
September 4, 201213 yr Better known as the Fokker F27 I guess? It's a shame isnt it, may not be a runaway success sales wise which could be why there havent been any takers so far. A couple of reasonable F50's out there tho. Dean Stringer
September 4, 201213 yr Author Yes, it was known in Europe as the Fokker F.27, but in the US as the Fairchild F-27, then later came its stretched by 6 ft. cousin, the Fairchild Hiller FH-227, they both were used by many airlines in the US, I remember personally seeing Piedmont Airlines fly both, in the 50's & 60's for the F-27, then the 60's & 70's the FH-227B, they both used those screaming Rolls Royce Dart engines, good memories.
