September 8, 201213 yr Hey AVSIM Community, Im having a problem that has never happened before.. FSX Wont reinstall. So i decided to freshly install FSX Again. At the second bar of the Installation, it says its downloading one Scenery File. Next thing you know, i wait about 20 Minutes and it still doesnt load up. This has never happened before, And then i open task manager, it says the installation is working perfectly well... Any ideas? And i also did a full reinstall of Windows 7 Ultimate, Still same problem.
September 8, 201213 yr You probably need to clean up. Run one of those freeware registry cleaners. Make sure there are no FSX directories. I do not understand where it says it's downloading one scenery file. Everything should be included on the DVD. Which version are you installing? Deluxe? FSX Gold? Did you install the Demo? Make sure the DVD is clean of finger prints. Go to the DVD directory and right click on the setup.exe program and select Run as Administrator. September 8, 201213 yr Sounds like a scratched disc to me. What's the condition of your DVD? At any rate, give it more time. Perhaps it will make it through. Make a cup of coffee or start a movie! ___________________________________________________________________________________ Zachary Waddell -- Caravan Driver -- Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/zwaddell Avsim ToS Avsim Screenshot Rules
