Airport PAPI lights dont show until the last second?

If I zoom RIGHT in, then the runway becomes clear and the lights show, but then I cant look around the cockpit because every instrument is "in-my-face" so to speak, but this only works if I'm not too far away from the airport, otherwise its the same.

I use .30 as my default zoom, and everything else is fine except for this problem..

M.A.Heathrow may well be old, but then so is FSX Now

I'll ask in the Aerosoft support forum, see what comes of it...
