Adding lights to addon aircraft is not working

Featured Replies

Hi.

Everytime I add a light to any addon aircraft, I get no results.

Example in the [LIGHTS] section, I add "light.x" (x = the next number of light lines) with the coordinates and effect names and the lights are not appearing on the aircrafts, why? I have all the effects and textures installed.

Even the default lights, like the "fx_strobeh" is not appearing.

I know FS has a limit for adding lights, maximum is 18 I think, I'm not exceeding that limit.

Any solution is greatly appreciated.

Sometimes yes, sometimes no.

I have alot of effects installed, shockwave 3D lights redux, project opensky's, default ones of course, and some others.

I tried adding a shockwave red navigation light on the default 737 and it worked but addon planes are not often working, it's pretty rare.

The thing is it doesn't matter if it's any effects, I just want them to work on the addon aircrafts.

I really don't know what's the issue with all the effects files, all I know is that I have them in my fs9/effects folder along with their textures in fs9/effects/textures folder. I've had shockwave's 3D lights redux for like 3 years now and I can't get them to work on my addon planes because I don't know what's the problem.

I'm adding the effects codes in the aircraft cfg file in the [LIGHTS] section of course. Also, I add something like that "fx_shockwave_strobe_l" then I get nothing on the aircraft. And so on.
